i have an interview for a possible promotion today.

Set for January 10th and 11th to celebrate the return of CHUCK! NBC announced the early return of the third season with a 2 hour premiere on Sunday and then the regular episode on Monday. This after the announcement that they are extending the season from 13 episodes to 19. I think I needed this good TV news after the cancellation of Dollhouse.

I'm still around, reading everyone's entries. The writing muse is absent at the moment, which isn't good for my SG Rare Pairing fics. I started one and know what I want to do for the other so may be I just need to sit down and open Word and get to typing. There are things I want to say about my SGA Big Bang story since the site went live, but I don't think any of it would be nice, so I'm just going to link to something I wrote a while ago and let that say some of what I'm feeling.

I have been doing a lot of cross-stitch though, so maybe everyone in the family will get something for Christmas.

The kids are doing well. Brad met with all of Liam's teachers to renew his need for assisstance at school (I stayed at home while Sarah napped). Liam will still be getting all the help he needs, which is what I was most worried about. Sarah is walking more. I promise that I will charge up the battery of the digital camera/video recorder and get some footage of her toddling around. I'm both scared and excited about it. Words are up next! (Though she keeps repeating these two syllables that make it sound like she's saying happy. Brad and I are about ready to declare that her first word.)

Not much else going on. Hope everyone is doing well!

Today Sarah  turns one. How time  flies. It seems like only yesterday she was the wee thing pictured in my icon. Now she's one. Have some pictures.

This is for all my friends who are on Twitter.

In the next 17 hours, try to tweet the hashtag #beatcancer as often as possible. For every tweet that contains that hashtag; Ebay/Paypal and Miller are donating one penny to cancer research.

A penny may not seem like much, but as of right now, the tag has been tweeted over 46,000 times. Here is the website with a countdown clock and a record of how many mentions the hashtag has received.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. My paternal grandmother survived it. I urge anyone reading this who has been affected to tweet. And remember to check yourself monthly. Not just women either, men can get breast cancer too. Richard Roundtree (who played SHAFT) was diagnosed and survived breast cancer. If you have a family history, check. Even if you don't check. You can survive this disease.

So go out and help a great cause. We can eradicate cancer.

My baby boy isn't a baby anymore!

Today is Liam's 11th birthday. It seems like just yesterday. *sigh* He's getting to be so tall and still growing. Brad bought him new shirts yesterday, in a men's small. I think it won't be long before he's as tall as me.

He got school pictures taken Wednesday, so hopefully soon I'll have new ones to post. And I do have some new ones of Sarah, but I'll save them for their own post later.

I just created a new community. I was quite astounded to find there wasn't one for Ellie/Devon, so I made one. ellie_devon , come join in the celebration of Ellie and Devon (aka Captain Awesome). Tell your friends, pimp it out.

Yeah. I just claimed two prompts to write for the Stargate Rare Pairings fic-a-thon. But the prompts just called to me. And there always needs to be more Carson/Teyla in the world! My other prompt is Sam/Teal'c, oh my! And two of the prompts I submitted are already claimed. *dances*

This on top of crossbigbang (Which I'm considering dropping, but not soley for writing reasons) and four prompts I took at the Fandom Fall Fest.
